1. Who we are

RecrIntern ("we", "us", "the Platform") is owned and operated by Kummarod Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. These Terms govern your access to and use of RecrIntern's website, mobile experience, and related services.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, don't create an account or use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use paid features. Organizations represent that the person creating the account is authorized to act on the organization's behalf.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We use two-factor verification (an OTP code, in addition to your password) on both registration and login as a security measure.

5. What the Platform does — and doesn't — do

RecrIntern connects intern candidates with organizations, provides an AI-assisted screening interview (academic and communication questions, evaluated by an AI model), and facilitates applications and communication between the two sides.

We do not guarantee employment, internship offers, or any particular hiring outcome. Shortlisting, rejection, and hiring decisions are made solely by the organizations posting internships — RecrIntern does not make or influence those decisions beyond providing the AI screening score as one input. AI screening results are an assistive signal, not a certification of a candidate's abilities, and organizations are responsible for their own hiring decisions and compliance with applicable labor law.

6. Fees, payments & GST

Registration is free. Certain actions carry a fee — application fees beyond your free monthly quota, and AI screening fees (organization-funded or candidate-funded) — shown clearly before you pay, inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) per the breakdown shown at checkout. Payments are processed via Razorpay; we do not store your card/bank details ourselves. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false or misleading information (in a profile, resume, or job posting); attempt to circumvent the AI interview's integrity checks; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation; or impersonate another person or organization. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, job postings, profile information). By submitting it, you grant us a license to use, store, and display it as needed to operate the Platform — for example, showing your resume to organizations you apply to, or a job posting to candidates searching internships. You're responsible for having the right to submit whatever you upload.

9. Intellectual property

The RecrIntern name, logo, and Platform (excluding user-submitted content) belong to Kummarod Technologies Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Platform itself without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kummarod Technologies Private Limited disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including hiring outcomes, AI screening accuracy, or third-party actions (organizations, candidates, or payment/communication providers we rely on).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or pose a risk to other users or the Platform.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located where Kummarod Technologies Private Limited is registered.
